Psychological Care

Considering the harmful effects of the multiple traumatic situations suffered by these communities, the Foundation Las Golondrinas has a team of 5 psychologists who provide mental health care in several areas:

• Clinical Attention (evaluation, psycho-diagnosis and psychotherapy).

• Psycho-orientation.

• Parent school.

• Trainings and workshops with students and teachers.

• Home visits.

• Research on mental health.

The individual and family counseling benefits the students of the Basic School Caminos de Paz and their families, as well as the external population to the School that resides in these sectors.

We are now able to offer Dog Assisted Therapy (see link of Special Projects) applied to children and young people in a vulnerable social condition.
